Drunk Diary, Day Nine

Oh dear this got messy!

Surprisingly I was drinking Kernel  Black IPA yesterday!

Total as follows :

5 x Kernel Black IPA Pints, 6.8% abv, 568mls, Units : 19.3
1 x Kernel Black IPA Half, 6.8% abv, 284mls, Units : 1.93

Total Units Day Nine : 21.23

Thanks to everyone that came along to The Rake yesterday for the launch of the Black IPA, it was a great day with great beer!

Whilst you are no doubt a heavy drinker, us readers are no doubt aware that is is slowly poisoning you rather than quickly and that it'll take a few years before your health noticeably deteriorates.

Can you post regular updates from your GP logging the slow decline of your health? Without it I fear this thread of blog postings lack context. We need a benchmark start assessment of your liver compared with it's state at the end.

Said it before, I'll say it again. British Ronnie Woods Units are the way to go...

20 units a day helps you work rest and play.

@Cookie

As a 66 year old who has not been far short of RB's intake for most of my life I would take a bet that his life expectancy is about the same as yours and mine.

When you read about alcohol related deaths being so high I really wonder what percentage of them are due to drunk driving, drunk fuelled violence etc., rather than health problems. Pretty high I reckon

There is worse things he could be drinking, Trust Me!
Are they bottling the black IPA, should be down in London sometime between the 16th - 23rd and wouldn't mind picking up a few.
